Le château frederiksborg
À la fin du XVIe siècle, le roi Christian IV ordonna la construction d’un grand château au nord du Danemark, Frederiksborg, qui est rapidement devenu le plus grand château de Scandinavie. Ce sublime château de la Renaissance situé à Hillerød, à 40 kilomètres de Copenhague, mis presque soixante-dix ans à être construit. Après avoir servi de résidence royale pendant quelques siècles, le château de Frederiksborg a subi un grave incendie en 1859 qui obligea à reconstruire une grande partie de l'intérieur du palais. Aujourd’hui, le Château de Frederiksborg abrite le Musée d’Histoire Nationale du Danemark.
